Black beard the dragon?

HI all just arrived home to find one of our dragons who is normally a sandy color all over has a jet black beard. Is this a normal occurence of could there be something wrong? eating normally etc your thoughts

bearded dragons are known to have black beards, i cant remmeber y.

Yes normal, Males get black beards to show dominance over females, aggression at other males, or if they are feeling unwell. Females get black beards to show aggression at males, esp if they are knocked up and the male is trying to advance on her.

What JasonL said (above) is right. Beardies regularly change colour according to body temperature, mood and reproductive condition.
