black legged beardie

hey guys n gals...
i have noticed since my beardie laid her eggs she has got black legs:?
at first i thought it was just the dirt but i seems to be her legs have just gone black :? any ideas?
i have also got a dimple showing up on one of my eggs:? what was it that you put on the egg to stop it?

Ah, sodium explodes in water.

Put a small amount of water AROUND the egg. Like, a thimble ful.
