I am wandering what is the best substrate for bluetounge i am using bark at the moment but it keeps having to be changed because of the smell. thanks

Hi, breeders choice kitty litter does an alright job absorbing odours, and is easy to replace. Some pet stores sell reptile sand thats odour absorbent aswell, but you hav to make sure the bluey doesnt eat it and it will stain its skin

Marine or outdoor carpet cut to size. I also use the aspen mulch.

With the carpet, If you spot clean regularly and give a weekly clean with a reptile cleaner, you shouldn't have any odours and its very easy to wash.

You can wash and put out in the sun to dry. Having a spare one is a good idea as you can replace instantly and wash the other one in your spare time.

Artificial turf. Looks great and easy to clean. Best of all bt cant eat it.
