blotched blue tongues in warm climates

So diamond pythons have lots of problems with higher temp climates and am wondering if something like a blotched blue tongue would struggle in a high temp environment.
I am asking this because I would love to get a blotched blue tongue but am also thinking of moving to Cairns in the future once I move out.
