So yesterday i was watchin my bredli in his enclosure and he got a little irratated and struck the glass i jist laughd and walked off but i just had him out for a handle then and relised his tooth or wat i think is his tooth stickin out of his mouth is this harmful to him?

i have heard that they can break teeth when eating prey and it passes with their food but cant say if its harmful in your case might be i dunno just because its sticking out of his mouth , maybe try to just take it out if you can

Can you post up a pic so we can see what your talking about?

Snake's teeth grow back... Luckily... They will loose them from time to time. Usually no issues. They're known as polyphyodont creatures - it's quite interesting to read about (do a google on it).

However, if your situation is different... Then I guess you could always post a pic :)

Couldnt get a pic but i mangaged to come out i just touched it and he bit me and got stuck in me haha took one for the team

Often when a snake bites you you can find a tooth left in your skin. It does sound like this situation (of course I can't say for certain) that the tooth was dislodged but remained holding on by a thread. It will eventually (if it hadn't already) come loose and a new tooth will grow.

It will relace It self what a great pity we are not polyphyodonts.Would sure save going to the dentist thats about enjoyable as a heart attack
