Hi guys,
Do tiger jungles need more height than length? Is a 4ft Long x 2ft High x 2ft Wide cage be ok for a fully grown adult. What temps do they like?
Jordy

what the hell is a tiger jungle dude
cuz last i checked the only funny named jugles are geographical specices ie cape yorks, tanami, athertens ect. id be careful buying any snake with a funky name like bumble bee or sand fire or in your case tiger jungle.
the only tigers i can think of in the snake world are tiger snakes and night tiger brown tree snakes.

but to answer your question jungle pythons need the same as any other carpet python about 90cm high by 90 cm wide by 60 cm wide for adults juvaniles need a smaller enclosure.

as a side the snake your looking at is probably a Black and gold colored jungle python and if its colours are very good can be worth a small fortune however, be cautious of any breeder or pet shop that tells you a dull looking snake will colour up

Tiger jungle is a morph that is striped like tigers hooglahbah and yes u would want it to be 4ft H instead of wide :)

or that puts a fancy name on anything. i have been burned by various lizards with fancy name i once payed $400 for a "sand fire yellow" dragon to only find out later they are common as dirt and it was really just a yellow one.
i guess what im trying to say is the only people who have any right to give a snakes colouring a special name, are the few well respected breeders who have spent many years colour breeding to get particualr colour. imo the best jungles i have ever seen are bred by a guy on here his sign in name is colin, if you want a truly stunning jungle go through him.

sorry to go on a tirade but i hope i helped.

if its a morph then we probably cant get it here and it is probably a filthy cross breed

snake ranch are exceptional breeders so if its from them then go nuts.
checking it out now.

Hooglabah - SR are breeding a line of jungles called 'Tigers'

i know the one your after its a nice breed however jungles do have a reputation for being a bit snappy if its your first snake i would recomend a bredli(centralian) or a coastal.
but as with all snakes you can get placid jungles and super agro coastals and centralians its a luck of the draw thing and the reason i wont buy a snake without seeing it first.

yeah just had a look they are very nice, didnt realise they had put the name tiger on it tho

Hooglabah, i have 4 snakes atm. I am swapping my female BHP as she keeps on having prolapse. They do look quiet nice so how could i say no :)

I have allready agreed on it to them.. She is a NT local and is 14 months old. She prolapses every 3 days and it doesnt just go back in with sugar.
