Hopefully this is in the rules that I can do this.

Just saw that the Reject Shop has plastic tubs from 2 bucks and a tub rack for 35 bucks (5 tubs)

Just thought I'd put this up as it sounded good for herps :)

Are you talking about the ones that are vertical and just slide in on rails? The only thing I find difficult with these is that you can't really heat them efficently! And the are easy for escaping!!!! Although I use these racks with the larger tubs and modify them and use them as breeding tubs for my mice! Really efficent for that :)...Herps not so much :p

The tubs themselves however are great for herps! They are good for hatchlings if you put them in a heating rack system or on a heat mat. Even the huge tubs can be used to house adult pythons on a rack system. This saves electricity but although I don't find it fair on the snake, I prefer my adults to be in large enclosures with heaps of room to spread out :) Tubs are great for geckos such as knob tails and other non-climbing species :D It is cheap and as your herp grows, so do the tubs! They are great until you have to get them in a full size enclosure!!!
All you need to make these tubs efficent for herps are a heat mat and a light globe! And possibly a heat lamp depending on the size :D

Yeah great for geckos. Knob tails would be good as they only need a heat cord which you can run along the rack. Snakes aren't so great for this I agree. I guess you could easily alter it slightly to suit whatever it's needed for. :)
