coastal breeding size

ay ive been looking around and couldnt find the awnser to this. im going to look at a pair of coastals tomorra and wanted to no what size they can breed at?? the price of them is pretty good the pair and a 5ft tank 4 $400. cheers

They can reach sexual maturity as young as 3 years old. If they breed or not can depend on their weight. Best off with slender males and well conditioned females. Some where between 2.5 and 3 kgs would be the minimum for my mind.

Generally for Morelia around 4-6feet but the most important thing is the female must be healthier enough,in good body condition,BUT not overweight.As Ewan already mentioned around the 2kg would be a good start,anything under that isnt worth putting her in danger...

Usually this is right, but I have cases that females laid eggs at the age 22 months. But you should stick with general rule 3 years.
