Hi I have a coastal carpet thats about 8 to 9 mnths old
She seems happy healthy and full of life BUT.
I just started cleaning out her (room) cage and inside her crap/poo
these small bugs came out, there that small that if you need glasses you wouldnt see them.
I keep her cage clean at all times and change the coconut ground every 2 weeks and use a reptile cleaner thats aniti-bacterial....
This isnt normal is it? Im a clean freak when it comes to my snake/Venom
Has anyone got any ideas or ever seen this befor becuse the last thing I want is for her to have any issues, any info would be a great help

Yea I can try but I dont think a cam would get that close like I said the bugs are really small

Are you thinking theres something in ur snake or something in the substrate thats possible starting a life on the nourishment of the poo?

next time u change the coconut try newspaper fro a few poos and see if it still happens,....

hadnt thought of that chris good call, the bugs could be comeing from the coconut
