hi,i have a coastal a little over a year old now, she has always been a good eater but hasnt eaten now for the last 5 weeks.
the temps are good,31 at the warm end,she is still active at night and still looks great, shes 120cm long and still handles great.
has she gone off feeding because its getting cooler now?
she lives in a 4 foot enclosure with a heat lamp and a couple of hides, but she never hides, she usually hangs out on the branch up high. i wish she would have a feed

Some snakes will shut down for winter, others will feed through. My stimson shuts down early and won't eat for up to 5 months despite 32 basking spot and 12/12 light in cage. The spotted goes for 3. My Morelia have eaten during their first two winters, but a couple show signs of slowing down now. It's a very individual thing. As long as she looks healthy, just offer a feed every 7 - 10 days. Try offering at night and leaving the item there when she has peace and darkness for feeding. If she doesn't eat it then, she's not hungry. As long as she looks healthy otherwise, you'll be right.

some of my snakes have started going off their food, but all the coastals are still powering on.

are you heating at night? the temps are starting to get a little colder at night so may be starting to slow down.

how often are you feeding?
