Lose the other snakes and have the pic (or a pic) of the woma spread across the background and i think it should look a bit better.

Maybe move the "pilbara" to the top left corner, leave the "pythons" in place and incorporate a nice pic of something like the woma or a bhp from bottom left to top right.

Actually, I wouldn't move anything around, but I would lose the Stimmy and the BH, just leaving the woma. That side looks too busy as it is. Actually, I'd rather you enlarged the B&W blackhead instead of the woma, but I'm guessing it won't stand out against the black background as much as the woma does.

Otherwise - it's a spectacular home page and bound to get people to enter the site.

Yeah, far too busy, lose the sunset and the landscape, too many snakes so to be safe get rid of them all and I dont like the font. Apart from that it looks great. If I think of anything else I let you know.

If theres lots of writing make sure it fits on the screen... nothing worse than having to keep scrolling back and forth.

LOTS of photos and prices for everything for sale common and scientific names (just incase).

Lots of interesting info, habitat photos, FAQ and answers, licensing info, links, distribution of reptiles in the area(??), live footage,

and did i mention LOTS of photos??

That front page pic is HOT! I'd go with it if I were you Dave. As for content some good care sheets to help out the newbies wouldn't go astray methinks. Prices stock lists etc but most of all keep it updated and current.

I like it - as for the website content, it will depend who its aimed at. If its for selling stuff, I like pictures,stock availablity, prices and care sheets/FAQs

I don't really like the woma in the pic, but it does work well over all.
My 10c worth though is to remember that a lot of people are still on dialup, so put nice small versions of the pics on the main pages with the ability to click on them to enlarge. Also, don't make each page contain too many photos, use sub-albums.

Interesting and helpful comments people I really appreciate it. One thing that is clear is that the front page is the fun easy bit and by the time I write the content it shall be ready by the year 3000. And Teamsherman my two boys don't like it much either which actually surprised me.

Very, very good point. I'm still on dialup, and if a page takes too long to download, I forget it and go elsewhere. What really pisses me off is when I wait 60 seconds and then the first thing to appear on the page is a banner advertisement at the top.
