hey guys sorry if this is abit stupid and also anoying

but i found alot of videos on youtube of people feeding bearded dragons
live mice

i just wanted to understand is it against the law to feed lizards live food aswell?
and can dragons eat mice/ meat products aswell?

sorry guys

They can eat them as a treat, but live feeding definitely not recommended, as with any other animal

not sure but i reckon that beardy will have a few scars on it now from that mouse bighting it

i thought live feeding was dangerous for the animal? causing injure?

It is... and as I understand, illegal in Victoria (instructed by bio teacher, not sure if that's right). I'm certain most of those videos are American - you can also watch them feeding their dragons anoles... just brilliant.

How is it dangerous "to the animal"? Which animal? The mice certainly (they get injure) Confused? Me too.

Don't worry, be happy. :D

Serious? Where's that lovely member with the picture of what the little mouse did to the big mean snake...

I'm no expert ... by any means , BUT . .. I was told mealworms can do damage to the inside of a beardy if they are not chewed properly .. as the mealies are still alive ....... That mouse did not look fully dead to me ...perhaps it could bit or scratch the insides of the beardy

I don't think that is true; they don't stay alive very long once exposed to stomach acids.
I feed mine an occasional thawed pinkie as a treat, she absolutely loves them. :)
