Interestingly there is a Melbourne in Manitoba (Canada) where the only snakes you will see will be garter snakes. The distance between the "Welcome to Melbourne" and the "Thanks for visiting Melbourne" signs the the Manitoban Melbounre is about 400 meters. It is just up the road from Sidney... which I am guessing was a typo.
