Collett's snakes have a subcataneous LD-50 of 2.38, making them ever so slightly less toxic than a Redbellied Black Snake.

Hey!!! It's not fat! They do tend to look a tad chubbier (if that's a word) due to them not having a really noticeable neck like pythons. That snake is about 4.5ft long and a tad fatter than a 50c piece.

I really think Colletts are the most beautiful looking ven of the lot. If I were ever going to keep vens I would definatly want one. Just look at those puppy dog eyes in the last one!! Ok I'm a softie!

Are they difficult to keep/handle compared to other vens? I know that a bite from an RBB is not a huge worry when compared with other vens, so I am assuming that a Colletts has the same rating. "Try not to get bitten :D but if you do its not Hospital or you will die" kind of thing ?
