Singapore is where all the big Tropical fish breeders and exporters are located, doesn't Australia import tropical fish for the pet trade?
Unless, those fish are particularly rare, expensive or hard to come by, which they don't look like to me, the woman has got herself in a whole load of trouble for nothing that she couldn't of probably bought fairly cheaply over here.

A friend who works as an airline steward once "busted' a woman who was concealing a live piglet under her skirt.

Some people will try anything!

Australia has restrictions on what can be brought in and I'm certain that plecos are not allowed. However they are breed in Oz, mainly around rockhampton I think

those "plecos" are very rare over here and are on the "L" list, they fetch $1000's over here and are brought in singapore for a tenth of that, she would of made a bit of $$$$ if she had got them in. ive seen people selling these in victoria so im not sure if once there in u can trade them.
