Hi Guys,
Thought I would reach out for some collective wisdom ... or reassurance I am on the right path.
I have a (roughly) 1 yr old diamond which I have recently moved from his initial plastic crate into a home made 600x900x1200 indoor enclosure. I have built a heat tile which I have positioned under his hide box ... but at the moment I have not turned it on.
I am located on the central coast in NSW so I am thinking the diamond is a local, so not much heating is required. But at the same time, the snake is not outside basking in the sun on a hot rock ...
Thoughts or advise on heating ?
I was thinking to put a timer on the thermostat (connected to the heat tile) and heat it to ~25 degrees for a few hours each day Oct though to May. No heating, or feeding now between roughly June & Sept.
Appreciate your advise - if there is a thread I have missed please point me in the right direction.
Cheers
Andy
