hey
ive got a male adult diamond python who will not eat now that he has came out of hibernation. he lives in a large outdoor enclosure in the wollongong area and is frequently sunning himself. any tips would be very helpful

Hi Eden,
None of our diamonds that are outside in the aviary are eating either.
You are not alone!

Wait a few weeks, he's probably thinking about girls rather than food at the moment.

Yeah my males arent eating yet, the females had a couple of feeds, but looks like they wont be again now for a little while

is it okay to introduce my male into the females cage to breed even though the male is yet to eat. my female had a large rat last week and is eager for another, should i just give her that feed and introduce the male.

i wood feed her and wait a week or so if not eating just put him in well i have done it in the past and it has been fine for me and he just startin in his own time

I'd get the male in there right away. Leave him in there for 4 weeks, then give your female another feed, then hope and pray that she's conceived. :)

Thanx for the help guys im feeding my female today and introducing the male in the cage in about 3 days

like most boys he's got girls on his mind and nothing else, put him in with the female for sure, thats all he wants, he'll eat when he's ready
