Hi all just wondering if people use an egg box for there dragons. If so how big is it. What sub straight. What species is it used for. generally i get to my eggs before they dry out in the sand but have been having some problems this year.

i let mine dig in the moist sand in the cave ive provided in their habitats

egg box...vercilimite & water

I've only just started using an egg box this year for my bearded dragons (because I removed the sand), i just used a shoe box and contacted the inside (to avoid the eggs sticking) cut a square hole in it, half filled with vermiculite and within 24 hours, she'd laid in there; then obviously removed the eggs to the incubator

also, forgot to add that i sprayed the vermiculite lightly with water to moisten it a little before i put it in the enclosure :)

for my beardys i used a cat litter tray with a bit of melimine 3 quaters covering it,filled with moist sand, ridgeys get a plastic tub 30 cmx20 cm x15 cm tall with a square cut in the lid filled with moist sand, stoors and gillens use a bulk cricket tub with a hole cut in the lid filled with moist sand to,waterdragons dig natural tunnels outside

i was just a lil worried about raising the humidity to much if i wet up the sand.
