Does a Macquarie short neck turtle need these??

Hi everyone I'm new to this and just wondering a few things I have recently purchased a baby Macquarie short necked turtle and just wondering if it needs to dry out its shell as in be completely out of water for a few hours do its shell can dry out for it to stay healthy and if it needs a calcium supplement at all

Turtles need a basking area that is completely dry with a basking lamp. Temperature should be around 30 degrees at your basking spot. They need Calgrit,Salts and Dechlorinator. Here is a link with more info

My turtle has a basking spot, completely dry but he/she never leaves the water! Constantly submerged.. eating fine, active and healthy so not too worried about it.
