Hi. I have an adult Bearded dragon ( 21 inch) that I recently recieved from a friend. I've had him for a few months now. He hasnt pooped in about 3-4 weeks. He is the first reptile i've owned so I was just wondering if that is normal???

how hot is the enclosure because if it is to cold they might not digest it or it will take a long time to digest.

I'd be seriously concerned about gut impaction and get him to a vet as quickly as possible. :?

No it is not normal, there should be poops everywhere in that amount of time. I agree with Maggie here, sounds like a case of impaction.

Oh....Ok, so what should I do? Is there anything I can do without going to the vet?

My male has just come out after 12 days of brumation and he hasn't pooed for close to 3 weeks, but no foods gone in the pointy end either.
Is yours still active and eating well?

Hibernation

Umm....Yea he is. He runs around whenever I let him out to play, and he eats like a pig. Do you think he is preparing himself for hibernation? I think thats the answer because I got him from a friend who kept them in an terranium thingo, so he was pretty much in the wild except for finding food.......Do you think thats it?

Its ok

Its okay! He pooped tonight and it was huge! :p

Lol.....Sorry for giving you the image
