Just curious - do female pythons drink more in the breeding season? As I have noticed my female ( nearly 3yr) stimmie drinking alot in the last 2 months, I have had her with a male stimmy(4yr), but she is not showing any signs of being gravid. (yeah did the whole cooling, week on & off etc) Though her last weight has gone up by two grams, obviously no food offered at the moment, I have removed the male altogether now and am going to wait and see....(prob no go) but I am concerned about the large amount of H2o drunk, she last saw a herp vet 10 weeks ago and had a full blood test performed - which was normal, noted her drinking every few hours....any theories, or am I a worry wart???
