My daughter has a woma and since her last shed we’ve noted dry scales / flakey scales on her head and some patches past here but nothing on her underside. We’ve an appointment at reptile vet next week however I’m unsure if this is scale rot or something different. Any suggestions? No hate please, steps in place to seek help.

Probably just a bit of retained skin (if it was in the flesh I'd be able to say 100% but the picture could be lying to me). Assuming it's just retained skin, going to the vet is a bit like rushing to hospital because you spilled orange juice on your hand.

Check the shed skin. If it's all in one piece and the top of the head is all there, it's something else. I'm guessing the skin didn't come off perfectly.

Her shed was fine, it’s her scaled, they are very dry looking, I’ve removed any substrate or rough things from her cage and bumped up humidity.. hopefully this makes a difference. Thanks for the feedback
