E.T. ~ what a movie!

Just saw E.T[again] for the first time in about 8 yrs, IMO its still the best movie of its genre ever made, special fx wowsers like "independence day" aside! I love that movie. Imagine how much Steven Speilberg would make with a sequel!! probably box office history. C'mon Mr Speilberg, please make another !

Little known fact - ET's head was modelled directly from Harriet the Galapagos Land Tortoise. She's 174 this year.

Yep.

She's fantastic. If you don't give her a pet when you're in the enclosure, she'll nibble on your shoe or put her foot on yours and push down. Scratch her under her neck, or in her armpit, and she'll stand up as tall as possible and stretch her neck out.
