Quick question about temp dropping in incubator. I left for an overnight camping trip after checking all my snakes and incubating eggs, to then arrive home to find my incubator sitting at 20.5 degrees. Murphys law there was a blackout in my area the same day I left. Going from what my tank timers said the power was out for about 30 hours. Just want to know if my eggs will be okay?

only time will tell. lets hope all goes well for you. is everything back up to normal? good luck

as long as the temp drop was gradual.. not sudden maybe they would be fine...heat them up slowly back to 31.5 & hope for the best.. good luck... candle them & see what they look like.. may help..

Thanks all. I think the temp drop was gradual. As my house was freezing cold and they only dropped to 20.5 over that time.
Well ive got my fingers, toes and eyes crossed hoping for the best. I will candle them this afternoon and let you guys know the outcome. Once again thanks

i'm with the others, i would think they should be fine, i believe its too hot that the killer, too cold just slows things down
