Now that I've finally made up my mind and decided on a SWCP to start my collection with, what's the best enclosure size for an adult? And as I plan to get a couple of BHP when I'm allowed to upgrade my license what's the best enclosure size for them? I know they need more surface area than height but how high is high enough?

SWCP is a hmmm southern water common python no idea what does SWCP stand for??? lol
bhps can be kept in tanks around 6 ftx2x2 comfortably :)

The BEST enclosure size is as big as you can make it ;) Really though it is dependant on the size of the animal. If it is young, you will be best of keeping it in a click clack, and as it grows update to a larger enclosure which it can live in for the rest of its days. Click clacks only need to be quite small and when the animal becomes too large, a 4x2x2 or maybe 4x3x2 will suffice.
For Black Headed pythons it is the same princple, start smaller and build up. Though as they are a much larger species, a 6x2x2 is good for an adult animal. Even though they are mainly terrestrial, a little bit of height to enable climbing is always good to give the animal some exercise.

Haha yes South-Western Carpet Python :p I have a click-clack ready to go when I get the heating, I was just wondering what size enclosure I was looking at for the later years, sounds like 4x3x2 is normal for a carpet python and 6x2x2 is about average for BHP thanks guys :D
