I know this question is a little out of the ordinary!
But one of my pet rats has escaped whilst I was out today.
I have no idea where she has disappeared to!
I have looked everywhere!
Any tips on trying to lure her out and find her?

I had a wild rat start to hang around my captive rat racks so I bought a "live catch" rat trap with a little kabana in it and caught the wild rat within an hour of setting it. Good luck.

seal the room put a carpet in ... problem solved

Edit: ah, damn pet rat, yeah one of the live traps is prolly best....

Where would I be able to purchase a live trap? Would bunnings have them?

If you're sure it's contained to a particular area like a bedroom (and don't want to buy a trap you'll only use once :p), just make it as quiet and dark as possible and sit there patiently with a torch. You should be able to hear it pretty quickly, domesticated rats aren't very good at stealth. Once you know the general vicinity it's in, methodically search through, upending any furniture etc and you should find it :) That worked for me once when I was rat-sitting a whole bunch of rats and I accidentally left the cage open and then went out. My rats were still sitting in the cage, lazy buggers probably didn't even realise that the door was open!

Yes I got mine from Masters but bunnings have them as well but mine was $20 and the product code was MAS_900001850.
