Eww!! Spider/Insect Bitten Finger Breakout!

Grrrr!! Looks like I've got another breakout on that spider/insect bitten finger. Very sore, swollen, itchy and weepy. Ewww!! Back to the Doc again I guess!

Its an outbreak from the previous bite I had back in October/November. I was bitten by an insect/spider. They don't know whether it was a Whitetail Spider or not. You'd think they'd be able to tell in this day and age wouldn't you?

get that treated quick! thats def a white tail bite. if its not treated quick it will spread fast i know a girl who lost her arm due to a bite on her wrist...

Hey pugsly, had it treated with two lots of antibiotics back in Oct and November last year. This is a repeat(its just broken out again?) of what I had with the original spider/insect bite. I've got an appointment next Tuesday. Can't get in prior to that. If it flares up too much over Easter I'll go to the local hospital. In the meantime I'm using Medipulve powder on it, covered with a bandaid, and when I'm working in the RR am using disposable gloves, to stop further infection. Cheers Cheryl

i heard of a girl who rolled on a whitetail and it bit her on the eyelid

the doctors didnt know what to do,and she lost her eylid and more to necrotic...something or an other (tech talk)..keep an eye on it for sure because it comes back and can do all sorts of things to ur system,,i.e..rashhes ,scabby sores.and nausea

yep they rot the skin, eventually there is a big black hole of dead tissue.. not pretty stuff, all that from such a little son of a b@#$%...

Well, I bloody hope it clears up. Pity no Docs avail here till Tues hey? I would have thought that the two strong courses of Anti Bios would have got rid of it months ago?

yeah so would I, hospital is ya best bet i reckon, the girl i knew went to the docs 4 times and they kept sending her away sayin it will clear, then went to hospital and they caught the venom which was spreading up her arm, (bruising means the venom is spreading) just before it hit her chest..

Hospital couldnt believe the docs negligence
