Exo-terra vine question...

Hello,


I will be using these in my green tree frog setup, I was wondering if they can be used with a little bit of them in the water to help the frogs get in or out of the water?

Has anyone done it?

I've seen some setups with the ends in water, should be fne.

They tend to rust over time , they have wire inside them and after a few years of use and bending water gets inside them , otherwise they is the awesome!

They tend to leave some little floaty bits in the water from the textured outer layer too. Don't think it does any harm though.

Yeah I use them for both the frogs and the crickets to get out of the water. Is fantasic, otherwise lots of dead crickets!!

I love those vines - have them in all of the Morelia enclosures. They have natural rope as well as a wire in the middle. I would be concerned about them getting waterlogged as moisture wicks up inside. This might also be a site for bacterial growth, too. No evidence, just a possible concern. It would look great!
