hey everyone,
just starting this thread to see everyone's favourite breed of python and why!?
ill post a picture of my waters when i upload photos to my laptop but in the mean
time lets see what everyone's favourite breeds are!

Definitely womas. They're just so cute and attractive and have such a nice personality, calm and good to handle and also a nice size- not to big and not to small. I love my little girl moccona to bits

If we're including pythons we aren't allowed to have here, my absolute dream snake is the Boelen's Python because this:

(I think the second is a cross with an Iriyan Jaya) - I just think they're so magnificent and majestic. They remind me of the orca of serpents!

But of the snakes we're allowed to keep, my favourite is the Rough Scaled Python, because this:



Cutest bug-eyed hatchies ever, priceless temperament (easy to handle, curious, watching their huge eyes flick around and focus in on things is so cool), they change colours in the dark... I love their slender necks and triangular heads - some people say their colours are drab but I disagree; I think they have a natural understated look to them that reminds me of coffee and cream Oh and of course the texture of their keeled scales is so cool. I'm biased because my baby is a roughie.... close second would be the hypo bredlis

My two all time favourites is diamonds and bredlis. These are my guys.
Next in line is jungle and Pygmy pythons

Agreed, can't decide on just one, they are all so beautiful and unique. Too hard to decide between my sweet little spotted python who sits on my head while I watch TV or my inquisitive baby girl woma who is a bit clumsy but finds her place on my lap, she just loves to burrow and she bobs her head ... especially during feeding time. They are both so beautiful but very different
