1) How old is she?

2) How long have you had her?

3) What was she feeding on before you got her?

4) What temperatures are you keeping her at?

5) What feeding methods have you tried?

1 1/2 years old

I have had her since February

She was medium mice

The temp I'm keeping her at is 26 to 28

Defrost the rat in the same water as I defrosted a mouse in

She a has shed 3 time already and is about 1200mm

I think a velvet rat is a bit small for a snake that is 1.2m long and 1 1/2 years old. Also iof those temperatures are your hot spot them I would look at increasing them to 32-33. It may be a male and is going off it's food for winter as well.

Is it still eating mice or is it off food all together at the moment? All carpets can be kept at a hot spot of 32-33.

Just feed it a mouse like you usually do but have a rat ready to go.Just as the back legs of the mouse are about to disappear hand feed the rat directly behind it.Do this for a few feeds then try a rat by itself.

So a large mouse and then a velvet rat
