Feeding problem!

hi guys,
I made the stupid decision to feed my pythons and place the rats out on a absorbent piece of towel. When returning to my python i saw that my python was trying to swallow down the piece of absorbent towel with the rat as he had rapped it in with his body. i got most of the absorbent towel out but i think he may have swallowed a tiny piece which ripped off. WIll this cause a problem? any suggestions of what i should do?

its non-toxic and if he can digest bone..... paper towel is going to present no problems for him

I imagine pythons swallow all sorts of things attached to there prey in the wild, it's not like it was glad wrap.
Just wouldn't make a habit of it, which i'm sure you wont
