Gonna need more info then that lmao maybe pics? All depends on how big the hatchling is. I fed my coastal on fuzzies didnt take him long to get onto hoppers. But once you get to that stage you should really try getting him onto pinkie rats :)

i agree jarden, i had my coastal hatchie on pinkie rats by 6 weeks old, and i think he can almost go a little larger, well looking at this pic. definately can go bigger ;) and he's only 9 weeks old now, but growing quick!

Hahaha Certainly!! And its backwards too LOL!

yeah he did have it by the head, let it go, had a bit of a sniff around and then bit it on the a**! It still leaves a decent sized bulge in his belly, so might just get some pinkies that are a bit bigger

Thats what I have had to do... lucky the guy at the local pet shop hooked me up with a PERFECT bag of pinkie rats... some little and some quite a bit bigger. I'm a little OCD so i have even arranged them in the snap lock bag from smallest to biggest :?

lol....my shop has a freezer full of 40l click clacks divided into different sized rats and mice, and they sell individually, so i can go through and pick the perfect size, or so i thought.

Supergirlmas without pics best guide i could give is a big as the fattest part of your snake

Feed it rats from the start to avoid any dramas down the track with switching. It will easily eat a pinky, but if it is from last season it will easily eat a fuzzy by now.

i had my 5 week old womas on pinkie rats [ because they didnt like pinkie mice]

I weight my little spotted and give him a food item about 20% of his body weight. This seams to have be a good guide for him.
