Well all, it's finally happened! I'm officially engaged! I went to Perth for a friends wedding, and as the sun set over the Indian Ocean, lighting up the sky in magnificant pinks and golds, he popped the big question... and the big diamond Yay for us!

Sorry Slatey, I waited for you to get here...but I can only assume your horse got lost on the way!

Thanks guys, and yes, it was Andrew. He didn't get down on one knee, and it's a good job. We were on a 6ft high rock wall extending out into the ocean...he probably would have fallen and broken his neck! We haven't set a date, but we're planning for October 2005.

That is really great. I try to get faster horse next time. Problem was that mrs Slatey was against it and feed my horse to much. Hard to get in to the galop with full belly.

Actually Zoe, would you believe HE chose the design and had it hand made?! It's a one off, hand crafted original, made especially for me! The diamond is a half carat, colourless princess with no visible imperfections, and is ideal cut. Whenever it catches the light, little rainbows go everywhere. I'm SUPER stoked with it... and all the numbers on the valuation certificate are pretty impressive too
