Flinders ranges herp trip

Next week I am going on a trip to the flinders ranges. Does anyone know some key spot that would be good for photographing
reptiles. If some one that has been herping in flinders and has had some experience with the area could shed some light on how and where I can find certain species in different areas at certain times. I have a particular interest in seeing some elapids, gillens monitor and legless lizards. Anyone know where I should be looking for these species?

The Flinders are loaded. Anywhere you go you will find plenty.

Elapids- Road cruise at night.

Gillens- Might wanna go further west, depending how you define the geographic area of the flinders it's further east than they come.

Legless Lizards- Common but difficult to find, walk around and road cruise.

Day or night for the legless lizards?

Depends on the type, Pygopopus crepuscular hours are probably best.

Delma probably better of at night, though they can be day active too.

What sort of micro habitats should I be looking for them in? Around spinefex at night?
