Flooding the forums

In view of the recent spate of flooding by some members to boost the number of posts they have (and then boast about it), I have put up this poll.
Should people who blatantly flood the forums have their post counter reset?

But then who is to judge what is flooding? in some cases the flooding has brought about good retults.

I post a lot of crap, but it's not to boost the counter, it's just that I'll talk crap in a crap talking thread. I'd happily have my counter reset or see the counters removed, they really don't mean all that much. If some people are obviously flooding to increase their count, maybe they should have their accounts reset to discourage them, or perhaps the chit chat posts shouldn't count and the mods should be more strict when it comes to talking crap in serious threads, which would probably be a good idea.

Although when someone posts a thread bragging about how much flooding they have been doing...well it is not very hard to decide if it is flooding or not.

I think that it's a good idea, but dont delete the counters.

then whaat part is a good idea ether? if the counters arn't deleted then what should be done? i would rather have counters deleted the to be banned.

i have to agree with greebs but i wasnt braging bout flooding i was braging about making it to the top posters list its been my lifes dream i have voted and if wish u can reset my counter as it is only a number and dosnt really mean anything to me i just wanted to see if i could do it and i did so reset away lol and we all know who ur talking bout so please just use my name lol (any publicity is good publicity) have fun with this thread ya'll

Really? Then why no photo in the Rogues gallery? Perhaps they should make it compulsory for the top 10 posters to have pics in the Rogues gallery....that might stem the flood for a while.

One of the reasons that this list is popular isnt because its the source of the best herp info on the net. Its because peole chit chat and they do it a lot. I dont care either way and I am willing to drop in and out as I please. Is it a jealousy thing Greebo. Who do you regard as flooders, Fuscus? Afro? Bryony? Dobermanmick, Libber etc. Youve already pointed out Jimmy but he obviously has ADD and annoys you anyway. Lighten up. Its a number not an award.
