ive had my frog tank set up for 2days and now that the water has heated ive noticed a lot of condensation on the uv/fluro sitting on top.
how can this be prevented

ive got perspex with holes drilled in so the uva/uvb can pass thru.
i might use sealent on the inside of the fluro..

Just get sealed PVC end caps.
That way it will cover the electrical parts at the end of the batton but not the actual light.

Put ventilation elsewhere, I have vents on the end of my tank and I don't get too much up on the light. My vent is just above the water line and under the light. Sorry thats the old setup the vent is on the end near the water dish.
