G'day,

Found this little tree frog near Appin tonight. Anybody know what species it is? Note the emerald green flecking.

Actually you're right

Yes it is L. peroni. It has slightly rough texture to the dorsal surface with no distinct pattern but small flecks (which are usually emerald green when examined closely), bright yellow with black mottling on armpits, groin, and backs of thighs and a cross-shaped pupil.
