Frog season

When should i expect the frogs to start reappearing?
Rain is "apparently" due in the arvos all weekend, so should i go have a look before, during or after the rains? OR is it still a lil early in the season?.

Do you catch them??? What do you catch??

go after rain at night, I am only new to frogging but learnt heaps of a few members at a field trip a year ago. after rain or during rain they are all out and about (some species) and a lot are breeding, also after really heavy rain you get some of the cool species like chloris coming down from the trees, I have seen them only after really heavy rain. it really depends what your looking for as some species are more active in winter then summer apparently.
