My coastal is on rabbits and I asked the other day if my jungle would adapt to rabbits (small or babies) and was told that I should get both of them onto rats as they were better for them.. Im confused now, what is better?

Sorry for changing your thread skunk, just a quick answer would be fine
Thanks

RE: Re: RE: FS: bunnies

I always thought that meat and bone is just that. They would be getting their nutrients that they need out of either animal. Rabbits will obviously be bigger.

RE: Re: RE: FS: bunnies

Thanks shamous1. I only ask as our local pet shop only has rabbits, has a few mice too but no rats

RE: Re: RE: FS: bunnies

They say rabbits are better as they do not store as much fat as a rat the same size and weight and the fat that is on them is not colesterol causing :) and their bones are also larger than rats bones.
