Thought i better post a pic or two, been lurking in the background a bit, time to front up
Such a lovely little Coastal Carpet Python, not sure of the sex yet (only 7 or 8 months old, will find out later) so for now i am naming him 'Bitey'
That second photo was right before he decided that flash photography is a bit bright for a little snake, so i might bite that camera, and he lept right off my hand and fell to the floor (good 'parent' i am!!) lucky i was kneeling anyway, so it was a very short drop, needless to say he was especially freindly when i picked him back up!
At the moment he is in his 'click clack' with heating, water and two hides etc, you can see it on the left in the photo below, but this will be his home soon as i finish decking it out, just needs a branch to climb on and maybe some fake green stuff.
I might wait until he is a bit older before taking too many photos, hopefully by then he will stop trying to bite me and the camera!
