I'd be more wary about the protein amount than the fat, fat can be used by skinny animals but insectivores can have issues with too much "red meat" in their diet.

Yeah but the protein levels are very similar to lizards (i think?) and they normally eat some lizards. So the protein should be fine in moderation shouldnt it?

If they are similar to humans it isnt the fat so much as the cholestrol associated with animal fat that causes problems such as fatty liver etc. isnt it?

Im just goin off various things i have heard and read im definately no nutrionalist.
 
fatty liver probs is more a lazy snake problem, though it is possible to get a lizard fat as well, even on insects, but a little common sense not to over feed your animals will go along way. Also amyae tend to be harder to keep weight on whist breeding as they do not have the advantage of a fat storage area, ie no tail, so fattier foods are of some benefit.
