mangles, is this shop you speak of at kedron?

if so, i didn't know he had sold it,

i wouldn't know as 'barry' the owner of that shop is a tosser and i refuse to go there.

i spent HEAPS of doe in that joint on reptile stuff (food, eqip. etc.)
and one day i decide to buy a pair of spotted hatchies, so i goes to a local breeder to check out some of his stock, the guy had some nice pythons, but i thought i'd cruise down to the kedron shop to see what he had.

it was in the day, in the week, so the place was dead, i walk in, and stand at the counter watching 'barry' play with his laptop, i sat there for at least a minute before he even looked at me, i asked to see what he had in the way of spotteds, he sighed and peeled himself of his laptop and walked up to the enclosures, he asked how much i wanted to spend?
i said that the price i'd been given from the breeder was $300 a pair.

well he slammed the keys to the enclosures down on a bench and said in a rude manner, and i quote-
"i am not even gunna open the box for $300"

he then stomped off back to the counter and buried his head in his laptop.

me, being totally disgusted by his crap, walked straight out of the shop,
as i was getting in the car, he yelled out the door "you wont get anything for $300...
you will only get (S word)... and that (S word) will never eat!"

i never returned to that shop, and the local breeder got $300 big ones.

Yes, the shop I speak of is at Kedron. I never had a problem with Barry, however I would not deal with anybody else that worked there.

In hindsight, the prices were high compared to what I later found through sites such as this and others, although in line with other retail shops around Brisbane. I have had no problems with my snake, but I would never buy from a retail shop again because they are all too expensive.

i couldn't agree more, however, 'everthing reptile' at manly rd manly is pretty good.
