Hi all

This is the gecko for those that remember I posted about 1 month ago and a few said she may be gravid.
Anyhow no eggs as of yet, but these are some fresh pics I just took if anyone could tell me if she is gravid or not that would be great. Sometimes with the naked eye she appears to be then next day she doesn't but I don't have much idea when it comes to these things. She has also put on approx 2-3 grams in that time.
Thanks All

Well like I said first time I don't think she is gravid, when they are gravid and especially in the later stages you will be able to clearly see eggs in her belly, I put a pic in the first thread if you want to see what I mean.

I would suggest cooling both the male and female for about 3wks then re-introduce them and give the female lots of calcium. Goodluck

i agree, generally a gravid gecko, you can see practically strate through the skin and see definate eggs

Possibly holding infertile eggs, these are often harder to see than fertile ones and a female that has had no mating will still develop eggs, they tend to hold onto infertile eggs longer as well, sometimes for up to 2 months. Developing eggs (fertile or not) does place a calcium strain on females, they should be fed well and supplied with a appropriate heat spot.

Thanks all

If they are infertile will she lay them or reabsorb the eggs?
