today i went looking for reptiles at fogg dam and i was impressed because of all the animals we saw.
my dad drove me there and then we went onto the trail. at the end of the first trail we were disappointed because we hadnt seen a thing so we headed back then we nearly stepped on a green tree snake! we were so depressed about walking all the way to the end we didnt bother looking for snakes. this cute little snake was sitting in the middle of the path and sat their for afew seconds before the chase started. i chased it over and under the board-path with my snake hook, but it got into the water and swam away, their fast little buggers!!
then my dad and i walked back to the car and decide to go on another trail which was a road to a look out. we walked halfway there and turned around and on the way back we saw a small snake swimming around in the water(it looked like a water python). we watched it for awhile and decided not to risk going into the water for it because of the crocodiles.
we got back to the car and drove upto the look out. on the way we saw many birds and i finally saw a wild "spoon bill" which looked strange. on the way there and back home we saw 3 sand goannas.
next time i go im bringing a camera
