This morning as I opened my vivarium to change the water for my baby GTFs, one of them jumped out.:( I cant find it anywhere, and was wondering if anyone knows where it is likely to go? Also, how long can it go for without water? Someone told me to wait until its dark and watch for it jumping around, am I likely to see it then?

JasonL has said before if you put a cup of water in a room the next day GTF will be in it whilst red eyeds would dry out if you put a cup of water in a tank....so from that I'm guessing they'll seek out water... Good luck finding it.

I found one of my lost frogs 3 weeks after I lost it... was all dry and crispy. :(

I lost my GTF for about 3 months and we found him one night out on the carpet. Mum spotted him on her way back from the toilet. Fred had been living in the bottom of those selfwatering pot plants and it didnt look like he was hungry. good luck finding your frog im sure it will turn up

Lucky Fred. Smart frog

Hope you don't have dogs! Good luck finding the little guy

You can try putting a glass jar with crickets in it, sometimes that can attract them (mainly at night). Other wise look in any plants you have, plus any spots where there is water.

I'm very sorry to hear that! :(

You should place a big flat water bowl on the ground and maybe a wet towel.

Good news! I found it, it came out when it got dark - not far from the tank, but I have no idea where it could have been before as I looked everywhere. He/she was all dusty, lol, so I put him/her straight into the water dish. Such a relief:)
