Guidance re: tubs

I'd like a bit of guidance with relation to tubs if possible?

So currently I have my almost 12 month old Stimson's in a 7L Sistema. I'd actually like to keep him in a tub through next winter. He's growing nicely so I'm wondering if I should consider maybe a 14L one soon? After next winter , in spring he'd be 18months old and I'll be popping him into his 'forever' home.

Should I change him to 14L soon or keep him in the 7l for another 8 months or so (I just fear he will outgrow it well and truly by then)

Thoughts and opinions regarding tub size vs age welcome.

I have changed him over to a 14L and all going well so far. I'm hoping to keep him in there until hopefully this time next year.
