Hey guys I'm of to Harrington( Mid North Coast NSW) next Thursday for a fishing trip with a few mates.. I'm just wondering if anyone on here has fished up there before and know any decent spots, what species there are to target up there, what fishing gear I should be packing, baits etc etc I'm staying at a mates holiday house in Harrington and do have access to a tiny but will mainly be LB fishing.....
Also while I'm up there I'll be heading out for a bit of a look around for reptiles around the area just wondering if anyone knows any good spots around that area.. Any Help would be much appreciated..

Just go to the harington hotel mate, I try to avoid the fishing over there because the thirsty camel always gets me the night before we head out in the boat!

Ive caught yellow tuna off the rock wall at harrington just cast a large scad under a decent float and walk along rock wall with current and when you get to end start over again. Pulled in three tuna in 40 min all went 15 kg plus and all but one are still out there swimming so good luck.

The thirsty camel sounds like it could be the starting point for the weekend.. Cheers mate I'll check it out.

I'm guessing you mean yellow fin tuna, how did you go about getting scad up there? would that be the break wall your talking about? I've been told by a few keen fishos that the long-fin tuna run up there around Feb,March so hopefully I can find a few live yakkas to throw out there while I'm flicking a few plastics around.
