Darwins :D You got to love em! Thought I'd post this pic, the quality is not fantastic so I wasn't going to put it in my album anyway.

This litte gal (is my guess anyway) was only a day old and feeling particularly grumpy in this shot  thought I'd caught that special moment beautifully between man and snake  What do you reckon?

Cool Pic... How many did you hatch????

This one isn't mine, it's a friends  So I'm Sorry! I wish they were mine! She's a sibling of my Darwin who If I mistaken was from an original clutch of about 14 eggs. This time, only 6 out of 7 eggs laid hatched. If they turn out anything like mine has I'd be more than happy with them  But that's my bias creeping in again :D

RE: Re: RE: Hatchylicious :)

ahh about time they hatched. when did u get that photo moosy? i will go get some rabbits and have a look next week i think. did her childrens hatch yet as well moose?

RE: Re: RE: Hatchylicious :)

The problem with darwins is they are born ugly and red. My second favourite snake but hard to sell till colors come out. So moose are we getting another snake yet?

RE: Re: RE: Hatchylicious :)

:D They hatched last Saturday Ricko (the 27th Nov) The childrens I dare say were about to, but still hadn't when I was there on Sunday, I reckon they may have during the week though.

Yeah they are extremely boring looking when they hatch out Steve  thats for sure! Everyone said I'd bought a brown worm and were giving me grief over her! Poor baby :( But now's she's beautiful! :D

I think I've actually been giving the "green light" for another snake next year! :D I'm slowly grinding my wifes resistance down - she knows there's going to be another 1.....uh herm.....or 2 (maybe 3 )coming along fairly soon  and there isn't a real lot she can do about it! The self-contained outside shed's plans will be drawn up eventually I reckon  Then it'll be open season from there on in!

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE

RE: Re: RE: Hatchylicious :)

while i may not be married, its great having a having a girlfriend who appreciates snakes. the first thing she did when she came over was ask to see my snake :D

RE: Re: RE: Hatchylicious :)

Ahahahahaha Yes! I'm always asking my wifes friends if they'd like to come over and see my snake too :D I told them it's not venomous, is a good size and easily stroked. They blush for some reason or another and put on a silly giggle - or maybe it's a snicker :? Beats me? I really don't know what the problem is? Their husbands seem annoyed at my requests, it's not as if they hadn't also been invited! I've said they are welcome to join them, the more the merrier I say, but this seems to get people really off side :? People need to lighten up about people who keep snakes!! :D

RE: Re: RE: Hatchylicious :)

i have used the line " do you want to come back to mine and see my snake" and it has a 50-50 success rate. :p
