hi all has any one come across pythons with a head tilt before,, it has just happened out of the blue today no reason why he has fed in the last few days and been to the toilet today as well ,,, any body got any ideas ,,please,, marty

how bad is it?
violent tremmors or a slight quiver?

has it been exposed to any extrem temp fluctuations? (high or low)
or expreianced any other stressfull situations?

Sounds like your Darwin has been exposed to a deadly RPM, you better take him to Jaguar-Carpet-Morphological-Neurological-Defect-Detection-Expert immediately!

Lucky for you though, APS is full of them.

darwin head tilt

hi all thanks for the responces about my darwins head tilt,, my wife got on the net and did some research and came up with IBD which is a nero,, problem caused by ,,, temp changes ,,hyjene problems,, mites ,, and so on,,its quiet common and very contaiges to other snakes.. just punch in snake head tilt and check it out.. its going to kill my boy after time, thats for sure thanks all marty

wouldn't worry yet mate, does it show any other symtoms

It could be a range of things mate, brain tumours can cause head tilts a long with a number of other issues. IBD is a viral disease and can be diagnosed by a vet - and I would definitely recommend taking him to a vet before you convince yourself he has IBD

Haha, well at least you have someone to turn to.
The "biggest" breeder of them has trouble identifying them.
