Hey, I'm just setting up an enclosure for some central bearded dragons im getting soon... Just wondering, does the basking light/heat lamp have to be positioned on the roof pointing down? Or can it be position fairly high up on the wall?
My problem is there is not really a great place to mount it on the roof.
Sorry, stupid question... But I just want to get it right

It can be placed on the wall if it has an adaptor that you can aim. They need somewhere to bask rather than a general warm area so you need to be able to aim a basking light at a particular spot/area. If you get a Gu10 fitting you can get ones with a swivel that can be wall mounted and still aimed downwards.
